Payment Policy

This Payment Policy is incorporated into the Readability Terms of Use, and applies to users who have purchased a Readability subscription plan to access Readability through a mobile application, and to individuals whose payment details have been used to purchase the Readability services.

1. Subscription Plans and Payments

We offer many different types of subscription plans, the specific pricing terms applicable to your account may vary depending on promotions and the type of subscription plan you select at the time of purchase (e.g., monthly, yearly). In addition, our subscription plans may also begin with a free or discounted trial based on our promotions. Free or discounted trial period and related subscription plan shall be specified during the sign-up process. Free or discounted trial may not be combined with any other plan. If you are an existing or pervious member, you are not eligible to receive another free or discounted trial.

Unless you cancel your service at least twenty-four (24) hours before the end of the free or discounted trial period, you will be automatically charged for your subscription plan at the end of the trial period. You must cancel at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the end of your free or discounted trial period to avoid charges to your selected Payment Method. We shall not be responsible for failure to cancel your subscription at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the end of your free or discounted trial period

Our subscription plans are billed in one payment for the term. This means, for example, that if you purchase a monthly plan, you will be charged for the full month's payment each month; if you purchase a yearly plan, you will be charged for the entire year at one time.

Please note that we may use a third-party payment processor to facilitate your payments.

2. Renewals

All Readability subscriptions renew automatically, we automatically bill your Payment Method each month or year (as applicable) on the anniversary of the commencement of your subscription. In the event your subscription began on a day not contained in a given month, we will bill your Payment Method on the last day of such month. For example, if you started your subscription or became a paying subscriber on January 31st, your next payment date is February 28th and your Payment Method would be billed on that date. You acknowledge that the amount billed each month or year may vary for reasons that may include differing amounts due to promotional offers, and you authorize us to charge your Payment Method for such varying amounts.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

You may cancel your Readability subscription at any time, and you will continue to have access to the Readability service through the end of your billing period. WE DO NOT PROVIDE REFUNDS OR CREDITS FOR ANY PARTIAL MEMBERSHIP PERIODS. To cancel, go to the "Manage Subscription" in the mobile app and follow the instructions for cancellation. For support, please contact our support team at https://www.readabilitytutor.com/contact or email us at support@readabilitytutor.com. If you signed up for Readability using your account with a third party as a Payment Method, and wish to cancel your Readability subscription at any time, including during your free trial, you may need to do so through such third party, including by visiting your account with the applicable third party and turning off auto-renew, or unsubscribing from, the Readability service through that third party. You may also find billing information about your Readability subscription by visiting your account with the applicable third party.

PAYMENTS ARE NONREFUNDABLE AND THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS FOR PARTIALLY USED PERIODS. Following any cancellation, however, you will continue to have access to the service through the end of your current billing period. At any time, and for any reason, we may provide a refund, discount, or other consideration to some or all of our subscribers ("credits"). The amount and form of such credits, and the decision to provide them, is at our sole and absolute discretion. The provision of credits in one instance does not entitle you to credits in the future for similar instances, nor does it obligate us to provide credits in the future, under any circumstance.

4. Pricing Change Policy

Our prices may change in the future. If the pricing for your subscription does change, we will notify you, and provide you an opportunity to change your subscription, before applying those changes to your account or charging your payment details in connection with an automatic renewal.

5. Payment Information

By providing payment information to us, you agree that the payment information is valid and (1) in your name or (2) in the name of an individual who has authorized you to use their payment information for your subscription purchase.
